Castle Refined (week #3)

 In the speed dating session, I got some really helpful critiques, most of which were about adding more details to my castle to make it more interesting. 

So I added some trees, a couple of rocks, and clouds outside and some light/lanterns inside the courtyard of the castle. I was also told it's better to choose a lighter pink for the bricks on the purple towers so I chose this lighter pink.

Then I started experimenting with textures:

I chose some green plaid patterns for a couple of the trees and the bottom to give it a more playful toy kind of look, a soil/mud texture for the rocks, and a purple asphalt for the purple parts.

Then comes experimenting with lighting:

 White Directional Light

Yellow and Magenta Directional Light 

(I also darkened the sky color)
